VAUXHALL LOCKSMITH LTD (company 09689063) is the data controller. Dispatch is from Vintage House, 37 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TL. This notice covers calls, WhatsApp, the contact form, jobs, invoices, and vauxhall-locksmiths.co.uk.

Privacy questions: contact@vauxhall-locksmiths.co.uk. We do not appoint a Data Protection Officer. The directors handle data protection for this company.

We process personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Cookies and similar storage follow PECR as amended from 5 February 2026. We do not rely on recognised legitimate interests. That route is for specified public-interest tasks, not locksmith marketing.

We collect what you give us to run a job: name, phone, email, property address, and notes about the lock, door or safe. The contact form also sends the message text and any service or area you select.

Card payments go through a payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on this website. Call recordings may exist when you phone the yard, to confirm what was agreed.

If you prove a right of entry we may see identification or a tenancy letter. We look at that to confirm we may open the door. We do not keep copies unless a landlord, insurer or court process requires a record, and then only for that purpose.

Lawful bases:

• Contract: quote, attend, open or repair, invoice, and aftercare
• Legitimate interests: job records, fraud checks, legal claims, and dispatch from Albert Embankment
• Legal obligation: tax records and lawful requests
• Consent: Google Analytics if you accept it, marketing emails if you ever opt in (we do not send marketing unless you ask)

We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles from locksmith jobs.

Processors who help us run the site and the yard:

• Google Ireland / Google LLC: Gmail SMTP when you submit the contact form. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4. The contact page embed of Google Maps to show the yard.
• Meta Platforms: WhatsApp only after you tap the WhatsApp link.
• The host that serves this website, plus insurers, landlords or managing agents when they booked the work, and professional advisers.

If a court, the police or another public body lawfully requires information, we provide what we must. We do not hand out customer lists.

Invoices and accounting records: six years after the tax year they relate to. Job notes: up to seven years so we can handle a callback, warranty query or dispute. Contact-form messages that do not become a job: twelve months. Cookie-choice records: thirteen months, then you see the banner again.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no need to keep it, object to some processing, and ask us to restrict processing. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time on the cookie page. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful while consent was on.

Email contact@vauxhall-locksmiths.co.uk. We may need to confirm it is you. We reply within one month of a valid request. Complex cases may take longer. We will say if that happens.

Write to us first at the email or postal address above. We will look at the job notes and reply. If you remain unhappy you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator: ico.org.uk, or 0303 123 1113.

Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Where that happens we use a UK-recognised transfer tool, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK addendum to standard contractual clauses.

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Our services are for adults who can authorise entry. If a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it if we do not need it for a lawful job record.
